Levan Road Veterinary Hospital looks forward to welcoming you and your pet to our practice! If you are ready to become a new client of ours, please take a few minutes to review the information below, before filling out the new client form.

We want to make sure you feel completely at ease when you and your pet arrive for your first visit with us. We also want to make sure you’re aware of our hospital and payment policies, so you know what to expect.

What to Expect

  • Low-stress handling so your pet can enjoy coming in to see us.
  • Caring and respectful interactions with a friendly team.
  • Up-front and transparent explanations and cost estimates for all services.
  • We recommend annual wellness visits to maintain an adequate patient/vet relationship and to evaluate clinical problems early so they can be treated effectively.
  • We are an AAHA-accredited hospital, which means we are evaluated on stringent quality standards encompassing all aspects of veterinary medicine. These standards are regularly updated to keep our practice at the forefront of the profession.

Appointments

We are an appointment-based veterinary hospital only. This gives our team the time needed to provide the best care to our patients and clients by answering questions, addressing concerns, and delivering the appropriate treatment.

Payment

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered here at Levan Road Veterinary Hospital. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, personal checks, and cash.

We only accept CareCredit payments for surgeries and/or emergency care over $750.00.

Surgery Requirements

Pets need to be up-to-date on their core vaccines (rabies, distemper) before they can undergo surgery at our hospital.

We believe a life with a pet, is a life well spent. We are a veterinary practice that cares for pets that are a part of the family from the start of their life, until the very end. If you want a friendly, compassionate, and attentive family vet that is there to help prevent illness as well as handle urgent care needs, then we could be the practice for you.

We offer kitten and puppy wellness exams, pet vaccinations, pet dental care, surgery, veterinary care if your pet is ill or injured, annual physical exams, and end-of-life care.

Our clients and their pets enjoy;

    *We see patients on an annual basis to maintain an adequate patient/doctor relationship. This is important to evaluate clinical problems early and have a better chance to treat them appropriately.
  • knowing that we are AAHA accredited.
    *AAHA-accredited practices are evaluated on stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine—from pain management and patient care to team training and medical record keeping. AAHA's standards are continuously updated to keep accredited practice teams at the forefront of the profession. Today, only about 15% of veterinary practices in the US and Canada hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation. Having an AAHA accreditation assures our clients that they are receiving the highest quality of care for their pet.

But we know that this is not what everyone wants from a vet.  Low-cost or no-frills may be what you want.  You may not think dental care or vaccines are important.  No worries, we're not here to judge you, but we're also not the right practice for you in that case either.
